On 28 September 2009, the board of Ebrex Europe Logistics BV and the head office in The Netherlands reached an agreement concerning a management buy-out.
With immediate effect, shares of the UK, Polish, Turkish and Russian divisions of Ebrex have been sold to the directors Twan Cuppens and Arvid Meijer. The management buy-out is supported by a third investor, German company JDW Spedition GmbH from Gelsenkirchen.
The main activities of the divisions bought by the management are European freight management solutions and warehousing. The new owners confirmed that all employees will keep their jobs, but that the name Ebrex will eventually be phased out.
